Welcome! Before you create a classroom on Classmoji, you’ll first need to:

Once your GitHub Organization is connected and your Classmoji classroom is set up, you’re ready to enroll students. Classmoji offers two ways to add students: manually one at a time, or in bulk via a CSV class roster.
📄️ 🧱 Modules & Assignments
In Classmoji, each module is a GitHub repository created for a student (or team), and each assignment is a GitHub issue within that repo.
📄️ 🥽 Viewing Grades
Classmoji makes it easy to keep track of student progress across modules and assignments. Whether you want a full overview or need to check on a specific student, you can access grading data in just a few clicks.
📄️ 🕒 Deadlines & Tokens
Classmoji offers a flexible system for managing assignment deadlines using a token-based extension system. This helps you enforce structure while also supporting students who need extra time.
📄️ 📤 Submissions
In Classmoji, students submit their work using GitHub issues and branches, following the same workflows used in professional software development.
📄️ 🎯 Grading System
Classmoji replaces traditional number-based grading with a flexible, emoji-powered system that emphasizes feedback, clarity, and motivation.
