Questions

Is Classmoji free?

Yes. Classrooms are free, including teams, assistants, and tokens. Pro adds the AI features (AI quizzes and the syllabus bot) and a custom domain for your class website.

Can I self-host it?

Yes. Classmoji is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license, and you can run it yourself with Docker. Self-hosting guide

Who owns the student repositories?

You do. Classmoji creates them in your class’s own Github organization or Gitlab group, not in an account of ours. Repositories

Can my TAs help grade?

Yes. Add assistants to your class, assign graders to each assignment, and everyone works from their own grading queue. Grading

What happens with late work?

The last push before the deadline is the submission. Students can spend tokens on extra hours, and you can override a late submission when it makes sense. Tokens and extensions
